Religious Freedom

The first amendment of the constitution of these United States of America outlines that there shall be a separation of government and religion. This incredible amendment allows for, and facilitates, the freedom for Americans to worship how, where, and what they may.

“I have a profound appreciation for this principle, as it ensures that no other person or group may govern my individual spirituality. The principle of free agency is one upon which we raise our children. It is not ours to judge the path of another, truth will always find a way. For this reason, and for the beauty of these ideals, I commend those legislators who have stayed true to this fundamental principle of American government and I seek out those who will work to protect these rights.” –Rachel Nelson
